Church Management Training - May 2023

A course in church management for priests of a number of churches in the United States

 

On Thursday evening, the activities of an intensive training course in church management and institutional development for service began in the churches of Northern California and the West Coast of the United States and its dependencies, under the supervision of Father Reverend Anthony Baqi, Undersecretary of the Papal Headquarters in Northern California.

 

The training is provided by a number of professors from the Coptic Institute for Church Administration and Development (COPTICAD), and two groups of priests, leaders of church councils and servants from San Francisco (30 trainees) and Seattle (30 trainees) participate.

 

Events will continue until May 7 at the Papal Residence in San Francisco, and will be presented in both Arabic and English.

 

This session, the first of its kind, is held in the diaspora parishes, which comes in implementation of the recommendations of the eighth seminar of the Holy Synod in November 2021.
